I have a few but one of them is Motley Crue's Decade of Decadence.

I have no idea why I bought it as I never liked them!

I wouldn't be that embarrassed to own the Batman and Robin soundtrack. It has some good songs on it, like the Smashing Pumpkins, Goo Goo Dolls, and Underworld songs. Now, if we were talking about the actual movie, that'd be a different story...

For the record, the only embarrassing cd I have is by some chick called Apollo Smile. Everyday I look at it and wonder why the hell I have it.

Yeah, I think Grunter wins. My two most embarassing were: Color Me Badd's first album, which I got as a gift when I was in high school and noticed with horror that it was still in my cd rack right before I moved to Vegas. It was promptly tossed. The other is Limp Bizkit's Significant Other, which is just painfully bad.

What do I win?
What do I win?

Incidentally - 3 semi-embarrassing CDs out of a library of over 5000 is pretty good odds, doncha think?

Of course, I'm not embarrassed by my complete collections of ABBA, Village People or "The Disco Years" compilations.

That is simply unreal. I didnt open this thread expecting to see that.

I've trimmed my collection so much I have very little embrassment potential. I have a tape single of Jesse Jaymes "Shake It Like a White Girl"

Hey, I have that Jordy recording! The WHOLE album, thanks to my sis playing a joke on me. I never got rid of it because it's too much fun putting on the end of compilations I make for people.

I'm sure I have some embarrassing stuff out of 2,000 CD's, but I'm as proud as can be that I don't own one single late 80's hair band. Honestly, that would be more embarrassing than owning Yanni or John Tesh.

I do own the Carpenters greatest hits. Maybe that is embarrassing, but I think it reminds me of my childhood... and it's kind of bizarre hearing the crunchy guitars in "Superstar".

Destiny Child's "Survivor"
Miichael Jackson "History"

That's all, and I enjoy listening to them both too even though I'm not into pop music much. I'm into very little pop music as you can see.

i dunno if one song counts, but it's Connie I've Found the Door from Chainsaw Kittens - Flipped Out in Singapore. i really liked the album, but:
Some years back, as i played the CD for a friend he asked me, w/ a quizzical look on his face, "Dude, you know what that song's about, yeah?"
"What? It's about a guy finding a door."
"NO. It's about a guy coming out..."
At this point, you could actually hear the little gears & cogs in my head turning. Suddenly, it dawned on me. i nearly tripped rushing for the EJECT button on the player as he almost fell of his chair laughing. It was a Metallica-thon after that (everything up to Justice, anyways).
To this day, i don't know if he made that crap up or not. i just never really read anything into the song, i guess - not that it's a bad thing.
FWIW, i still think it's a solid album (produced by Butch Vig).... i just don't "turn it to 11."

Other more dubious CDs in my possession:
Me Phi Me - One
Eye & I - Eye & I
(various artists) - Boys United promo CD ~ i won it on a radio contest grab-bag & couldn't exchange it

The Very Best of 10cc

Ugh, bought it for 2 songs ("Life is a Minestrone" & "Rubber Bullets") but had no idea these were the guys behind "I'm Not in Love" with the horrible bonus track "Cry." Everything I don't like about pop music.
