"Weird" Al to go back in the studio.

FINALLY!!!!!

After them completing the UHF dvd, they had finally decided to go back into the studio and record some new stuff.

What parodies do you predict "Weird" Al will do next in his next album?

I hope he makes fun of Britney Spears next.

I figure he's bound to do a parody of Eminem eventually.

Gotta do a boy-band song. Maybe Creed.

I'm pretty sure they will definitely go on tour in support of their next album. "Weird" Al usually tours every album he does.

I thought his last "Running With Scissors" tour was fantastic. I saw him in concert before and it's one of my really favorite shows I've ever been too. The man really knows how to entertain the fans. That is why he is a PARODY GOD!!!!!

I just heard more great news from Al's web site.

On his new album, he's having a few special guests on his next album.

1. Ben Folds is going in the studio to record a song for Al.

2. Dweezil Zappa is going in the studio to play guitar on 1 song as a special guest. For those who are not familiar with Dweezil Zappa, Dweezil is Frank Zappa's son. Dweezil and Al have been good friends for years.

Generally Al's albums are recorded in two stages. The original songs are recorded first, and the parodies are saved for last. Since they're just now hitting the studio, I would assume that little thought has been put towards parodies.

I hope he puts some serious effort into his original songs, they have been fairly lame as of late (My Baby's in Love With Eddie Vedder?). Though "It's All about the Pentiums" is definitely one of his best parodies.

One of his original songs from "Running With Scissors" is really good and he seemed to put a lot of effort in it. You know the song "Germs" it's not a parody song but a style parody of the band Nine Inch Nails. "Germs" has a great guitar riff in it like "All About the Pentiums" does. Let's just hope Al will write more harder rocking songs like those two.
