Musical preferences?
I'm new here, but I just wanted to see what everyone's general taste is?
I'm rather eclectic I suppose, but the bulk of what I listen to is progressive/indie rock: Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control, so on and so forth. I'm also into some post rock/trip-hop music such as Aphex Twin, Bjork, Portishead, Air, some of Clint Mansell's work, and Tortoise...but then I switch modes again and like a lot of 60s music, for example, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, and The Doors. Right now I have this affinity for some of the early-mid 90s rock because I realized that I listened to some good stuff in middle school! Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, and the first Garbage cd. Finally, I've come to ask if anyone is into Sigur Ros or Tori Amos? (I know those two should probably not be paired together, but whatever!) I've heard that Tori Amos is putting out a new cd around September and just wanted to confirm if this was a rumor or not? Basically, all I wanted to say about Sigur Ros is that you CANNOT go wrong with the album Agaetis Byurn (I think that's how it is spelled).
Sorry if this message is a little tedious.
