Well, i've listened to all the Rush interviews and they have given hints to what is going to be on the setlist. Here are my predictions on what is going to be on the setlist and what is not:

Spoiler:

Witch Hunt, The Weapon, Enemy Within, Freeze.
-----While they did not say anything about these songs, we have seen the email that Hanibal showed us and Freeze is one of the best songs on the album.

Natural Science
-----Alex admitted that this is one of his favorite songs to play, and that he thinks it will stay on the setlist.

Cygnus X-1
---- #3 on rushpetition, and Gedd and Alex were making eye contact and laughing during rockline. I'm pretty sure this is going to be played

The Camera Eye
----- #1 on rush petition, I can't say for sure I just have a hunch.

One Little Victory, Peaceable Kingdom
---- First single, and Gedd and Alex's favorite song on the album

Songs that are going to be removed:

2112
---- Alex admitted that some songs are going to be cut, and he mentioned 2112----Maybe replaced by Hemispheres???

Anybody else have any suggestions?

Well, I'm finally gonna get to see my favorite band -- got great seats for their show at Coors Amphitheatre in San Diego today.

Thanks Lateralus for this thread and giving me a heads up on the whole Internet pre-sale thing.

I'm going to the July 6 at Saratoga Springs show and I can't wait to see them live as I know it will be an amazing show.

To tell you what songs I think they should do, I hope they do their most popular songs like "Tom Sawyer", "New World Man" and "Limelight" and I'm sure they will do those songs.

I hope they do a few songs off the "Test for Echo" album too. The songs I would like to hear off "Test for Echo" live on stage are: "Driven", "Dog Years", "Test for Echo" (title track) and "Half the World".

They have not played "New World Man" in like forever, maybe this tour. As for the Test for Echo songs, they are all possible except for 'Dog Years' I'm really hoping that they play one song from every album, that would really be cool.

I'm actually taking the opposite approach. I hope they play some of their less popular stuff. Countdown, Chain Lightning, Different Strings, even Turn the Page. Stuff like that. Don't get me wrong, I still want to hear Tom Sawyer and Subdivisions but it'd be nice to hear some other stuff. I saw them during the Test For Echo tour and they played like 9 songs from TFE. I'm not a huge fan of that album so I hope they limit what they play of that album to a few songs. Still, if the show is going to be like 96, they'll play two 90 minute sets seperated by a 30 minute break, plus encores. Definitely looking forward to it(I'm going opening night in Hartford) I just hope they throw some suprises in the set list.
Less than three weeks to go!

Well thats all folks! It seems like the concert is over, and I am disappointed in the set list. My biggest dissapointment is that they did not play
Spoiler:
The four parts of "Fear" and Camera Eye

However, they did play songs from 15 albums which is a good sample from nearly their entire collection.

Albums not played from were:

Caress of Steel
Hold your Fire

I hope they mix the setlist, that would drive me batty and I would have to get tickets to the other shows.

Just got back. Overall, I really enjoyed the show. The first set was killer. The second was a bit weak at first but really picked up at the end. The encores were pretty good too. Overall, some shockers song wise
Spoiler:
The Pass being the biggest
and some songs were sorely missed. However, I really enjoyed the show and I think that some of the songs may have been unique to opening night. One thing that kind sucked was
Spoiler:
they did not play 2112 in it's entirety as they did during the TFE tour nor did they play Cygnus X-1 in it's entirety.
. Despite a few complaints in the set list, it was rather good. A nice balance of older stuff, their middle of the road stuff, and their newer stuff. Definitely enjoyed it.

Roll The Bones again. Damn. I was hoping that would never be heard at a Rush show again. Doesn't look that much different from past setlists. The only thing that hasnt' been played live by Rush before was Between Sun And Moon and that song sucks. Hopefully they shitcan that before they get to Houston

How do I get tickets for the Rose Garden show? Someone please help...I got tickets for The Gorge in WA (like an 8 hour drive) and now I find out that they're coming to the Rose Frickin Garden 1 and a half hours away! I don't mind road trips, I'm just mad that the day before our 8 hour road trip, they'll be only an hour and a half away!!! Who would sell tickets to the Rose Garden concert? Ticketmaster doesn't...at least they don't even list it yet...

thanks for any info.

When they do, will it be on ticketmaster, or do you have to actually go to the rose garden to buy them?

It looks like if I can somehow get tickets to the rose garden show, I'll be stuck with two decent tickets to the gorge show if anyone in Seattle is interested. But only if I can secure tickets to the Rose Garden...

Rush in Scranton, I had front row seats and did not know it till I got there.

Well, the Scranton show kicked some serious ass! I am still disappointed in the set list but Rush more than made up for that in quality of the music played. I thought the first set was a little week, it was still daylight out and the special effects really don't get good till it gets dark. However the second set just blew me away, it was probably the best 1 1/2 hours of live Rush that I have ever seen.

The giant screen in the background was awesome, they had a new company make the background video and the videos were vivacious and full of color. As a matter of fact, the background videos and stage lights reminded me of a Grateful Dead concert I went to some years ago.

As for the music, it was all great but a couple songs really stuck out:
Spoiler:
Earthshine, acoustic Resist, YYZ and The Spirit of Radio
blew me away. The only deviation of the set list from the first night was
Spoiler:
Ghost Rider, which replaced Ceiling Unlimited.
Neil’s drum solo was incredible as always, and the crowd really welcomed Neil back. About half way though the solo, a loud cheer started in the back of the arena and just verbirated forward drowning out the drum solo for a good 10-15 seconds, it was incredible.

I was directly in front of Alex; he was so close he could have sweated on me. Keep an eye on him he was hilarious, he keep on acting gay and pestering Geddy. During
Spoiler:
Working Man
Alex blocked Geddy’s view of the teleprompter for a good minute of the song, Ged had a really pissed off look on his face. In
Spoiler:
YYZ
Ged came over to Alex, and Alex shied away like a giddy little school girl, I almost died laughing.

If you have not got tickets yet, you should it is not to be missed.

All but one of the concerts was on Ticketmaster, I think that was the Hartford show and they were on Tickets.com. They could have a presale, which they would probably go on sale Thursday at 10am. The password for past presales was "victory". I'll post something if I see anything.

So by thursday 10am the rose garden show will be listed at ticketmaster.com? Or "a thursday"? If so, then there's only a need to check once a week.

I hope someone out there want to go see them play at the gorge...I don't think ticketmaster accepts cancellations, which is a shady business practice, but they have a near monopoly.

Presale (if they have one) usually go on sale Thursday's at 10 Am, you should have at least a week notice before they go on sale.

From: Chicago, IL,
Yes! Fantastic set list! I was worried that they would
Spoiler:
drop alot of the newer material
, but that looks like that is not the case.

Really pleased
Spoiler:
Red Sector A, Distant Early Warning, Bravado, and Dreamline
are in the set, love these tunes.

Dissapointed that
Spoiler:
Animate
was dropped, but
Spoiler:
The Pass, Between the Sun and Moon and The Big Money
make up for it.

Seeing them in Milwaukee, will have to stay sober for this one I think.
