Anyone here ever go to the 688 Club in Atlanta in the early/mid-80's? I was just thinking about it. So many great bands played there before becoming huge. The place is long gone of course.
I saw the Replacements a couple of times, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fleshtones and some other fantastic shows. We joked that if the club was only one building over it would have been called the 700 Club (address next door).
