i was listening to KINK FM the other day, and heard this great acoustic version of "Special". i've listened to all the acoustic versions out there, but none of them are the same one i heard. it was super slow and basically was only manson singing with only a few instruments in the background. it sounded like a "polished" version, and not some live recording. anyone have any idea which one i'm talking about? and where it was recorded? i tried searching for a VH1 storytellers version, but as far as i could find, there wasn't one.

i think i've heard this version before but i thought it was a version that they had played at kroq's acoustic christmas or something like that.

and i don't think it's a b-side since i don't remember it on any of my maxi-singles.

but it may be a contribution on a import compilation album somewhere although i don't know how to find out that information. sorry.

hmmm...try downloading it off of winmx, morpheus, or bearshare. I did this with a song a while back...had to download like 6 things before I found the exact version I was looking for, but hey, it was a small price to pay to get the one I wanted.
