Where is Alice In Chains?

I was listening to Jar of Flies and their self-titled albums today and realized that over the past 6 years, they've only released live albums and compilations. Are they still around?

The only reason they are putting out best of discs and complilations is to fulfill their contract with their record label. Once that is done, they are more than likely going to break up. Too bad, since they were one of the best bands of the 90's.

I hate to see them break up. I have everything they have done including Cantrell's solo album & Mad Season.

I would love to see a Layne Staley solo album or even better...another Mad season album.
