Best Buy will have Hollyweird on sale this week for 11.99

Got the CD last night..
Its ok..nothing great. The sound is demo quality..its absolutely horrible.

Id give it..2 1/2 stars out of 5...

Damn, I thought the bad mix I heard on the CDNow samples was a cdnow error

I went out to Best Buy and picked it up over lunch. I'm listening to it right now at my desk. The statement by KevinSmithIsGod about the mix is kinda right. It sounds a little muffled or something. As for the songs, I like most of them. Seems like the typical Poison stuff. I'm just glad to have some new stuff from them.
I was surprised by how many they had already sold at my Best Buy in Topeka, KS. I couldn't find any under the Poison section in the row so I asked if they had anymore. The person looked in the row and said "I just put 5 out here and now they're gone already" so she took me to an endcap and found some there. There was only like 6 or 7 left there after my brother and I each bought a copy. Hopefully that means it's selling well.

I finally got mine in the mail today. I thought it was a pretty good CD.
Wishful Thinkin' was my favorite song.

Awesome show last night!! there were easily 10,000 people there in the mood to party.

Missed Faster Pussycat (no loss to me). Winger sounded GREAT. They know their stuff and Kip's voice was perfect. I've never been a big fan of Cinderella so I left my pavillion 20th row center seat and suntanne don the lawn during their set. If you like them, you'll love their set though.

Poison played for about 1:15 and did all the greatest hits and even have Ride The Wind back in the set. The only two Hollyweird songs played were Squeeze Box and Emperor's New Clothes.

The crowd was insane for Poison's entire show. What a fun, fun group of fans!

Playboy's doing an article about Bret and they were taking some photos for it last night. in exchange, a bunch of Playboy girls danced on stage during Rock N Roll All Nite, with a couple taking their tops off.

if you've seen Poison during the 1999-2001 summer tours, you'll recognize Bret's between-song banter as it's still the same...

My take (I hate glam!).

Fast Pussycat was unimpressive, but ok. The sound sucked when they were playing. I didn't get the whole dressing up in Nazi military uniforms though.

Winger - Though it's obvious that they are talented, their set was just boring. The singer was using a hands-free headpiece mic and it just seemed silly. The guy behind me likened it to Janet Jackson.

Cinderalla. I thought their set was pretty good. Lots of energy and a good stage presence.

Poison. I don't like their music, but I thought they put on a really good show. They're good performers and had a good stage show (fireworks, lights, etc)
