Anyone else a big Eric Bachmann fan?
He used to be in Archers of Loaf and now fronts the band Crooked Fingers (actually, CF is more of a solo project). I was a big AoL fan once upon a time and unfortunately forgot about 'em. A few weeks ago, I saw CF open for Wilco and was extremely impressed. So, for the past few weeks, his music's about all I've been listening to...both CF albums, and I've pulled out a bunch of my old AoL cds. Anyone else a big Bachmann fan?

I really enjoy Crooked Fingers. The only AoL album I have is "All the Nation's Airports," which I'm having a hard time getting into (I recently picked up a used copy).

I think Crooked Fingers are about as boring as a band can be, and AoL are one of my all-time favorite bands. I love Eric, love his voice, but it doesn't lend itself to the mid-tempo ploddings of CF. For me, AoL perfection was achieved with the Greatest of All Time EP. Right behind that:
Icky Mettle
Vee Vee
All the Nation's Airports
White Trash Heroes
And yes, that space between Airports and White Trash is intentional.
