Concrete Blonde on tour
I was mortified to find out that Concrete Blonde had reunited, was on tour, and I HAD MISSED THEM!!! DAMN!!
Does anyone know if they are back together and touring for the forseeable future, or is this just like a "one last tour" sort of thing?
If it's my last chance ever, I might just drive 700 miles to see 'em.

Yes, you should definitely go. They haven't said what their plans are after the tour, so this could be your last chance. They are playing St. Louis, MO, which isn't THAT far from you and it's rumored that they'll play Milwaukee in April. That's too bad that you missed the Chicago show. It was really good.
I've seen them on this tour three times now and I'll probably go to the St. Louis show and definitely the Milwaukee show.
I don't know if you have the new album or not, but the songs are ten times better live.

WHAT!? They played Chicago and I missed it? I saw them on their final tour before breaking up at the Vic Theatre. At least I found out about the Siouxsie & The Banshees gig before I missed that one.

I have a bootleg of an acoustic Johnette show on the way, and a bootleg of their inital farewell show in hand, both are single CD shows.
I'm also aware of at least one show from this tour thats starting to circulate. If anyone is interested in trading let me know....

They played here in Dallas this weekend. We went to the Friday night show. They were very good. I decided to go back for the Saturday night show. Johnette seemed to be on a higher level on Saturday. The funny thing is they only played part of Tomorrow Wendy on Saturday. I think the anti-religious themes were definitely making her feel guilty the night before Easter.
