Phish - probably around 40 times - I lost count after awhile (and I'm originally from Vermont - so in the beginning seeing these guys on a regular basis wasn't really that remarkable)
U2 - 14 times (including 6 times over the last 12 months)
Bob Mould (solo acoustic) - 10 times (at least)
Prince - 7 times (including a rare after-show concert in a very, very intimate setting)
Depeche Mode - 12 times
The Cure - 9 times
R.E.M. - 10 times

There's a whole host of other groups I've seen in the neighborhood of 4 or 5 times -- but it's too many to list here.

What can I say? I'm a live music junkie.

I don't think I could count. I use to go to shows all the time and see some of the same bands over and over.. especially local bands. I saw a local band, Out of Order tons of times. For bands with a little more exposure.. hmm.. I dunno. I've seen Flogging Molly.. probably close to 10 times.

I've seen Rancid 4 times. I dunno.

I saw Drivin' n' Cryin' 10 times in the late 80's. They were an amazing band back then (maybe today too, but I'm not sure).

I've also seen the Fleshtones 5 times. Want to have fun in a club, go see these guys.

Well the band I have seen
the most is ...

Cheap Trick - at least 40+ - but I'm guessing it's more.

Others...

GnR - 10+
Iron Maiden - 10+
Aerosmith - 9
Pink Floyd - 5
Van Halen - 7 (only 3 were after DLR)
And many more ....

The only one I haven't seen that I would really like to see
and is still touring is Ozzy.

Hey KevinSmith - I will not laugh, I saw a lot of those bands
live a few times. I had an ex-g/f that was a photographer for a
rock magazines during that time. What a blast that you can't
find in the last 10 years at 'big shows'.

Deftones- 5
Rancid- 3
New Bomb Turks- 3
Vanilla Ice- 3 (once back in the day, 2 in the last year or so)
Voodoo Glow Skulls-2

Donnie Iris- 3 (local too...)
Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers (former guitarist for Springsteen, local guy)- 4

That's all I can remember right now...

As for local bands, here are a few good ones I've seen countless times...

Shonuff
Too Tall Jones
Dhamra Sons

And I've inadvertently seen Rusted Root and the Buzz Poets a bunch of times, even though I don't like either of them, but rather because they are local...
