Ozzy Remasters

Anyone see pics of the "New" remasters coming out Mar 26 ? Is it going to be worth upgrading some titles again?

If you're a big fan then yes I think it's worth it! From Ozzy's website:
OZZY OSBOURNE "Expanded Edition" Re-Issues Coming In March!

March 26 marks the release date of the first wave of Expanded Editions from the Ozzy catalog: Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Tribute, and the Grammy-award winning No More Tears. Read below to find out more.
Expanded Editions include:
-Original cover art restored
-All original issue information featured
-Bonus tracks
-New, never-before-seen photos
-In-depth liner notes from Phil Alexander (editor-in-chief of Kerrang!)
-Digitally remastered from the original master tapes for the ultimate sound

Bonus Tracks:
Blizzard Of Ozz
"You Lookin' At Me Lookin' At You," from the UK version of Blizzard Of Ozz
"You Said It All (Live)" from the UK b-side of "Mr. Crowley."

Diary Of A Madman
"I Don't Know (Live)," taken from the b-Side of the "Flying High Again" single.

Tribute
A previously unreleased single edit of "No Bone Movies."

No More Tears
Two b-sides:
"Don't Blame Me"
"Party With The Animals"

I see that it's not in this round, but is The Ultimate Sin going to be re-released as well?
I have the original version, and the mastering REALLY sucks.
I've been thiking about picking up the 20 bit remaster, but never bothered.
If there's going to be an even more expanded version, then I'll keep holding off.

Thanks.

It's just a shot in the dark but since it's one of OZZY's best, I assume it along with a couple others of his will eventually get rereleased also. I think they should've put all of them in a monster box set

Last night I heard "Shot in the Dark" on the radio twice! I guess there is some hope left for the world after all.

I'll be getting Tribute, but I already have the other two, and the extra live tracks aren't that big a deal for me overall.

What on Earth were they thinking when they issued the last round with those horrible covers? They looked bloody awful -- the original artwork shrunken down to postage stamp size, set against an ugly green or purple background?

They looked so awful I wouldn't buy them.

The new editions sound pretty nice, though. Hopefully the CD clubs will have them.

I love Ozzy's music, but this is the reason Napster happened. Releasing albums for the third team with one or two new songs on them. Expecting fans to buy these again is ludicrous.

Since I own all of the current remasters, I will be holding off this time around. That is, unless there is compelling evidence of superior sound quality.

I am very happy with the audio quality of the current remasters.

I'm actually excited - "You Said It All" has NEVER been released on CD before! Not even as a b-side!

I'm hoping to get "One Up The B-Side" as a bonus track for Bark At The Moon. It's better than all but "Bark At The Moon" and "Rock and Roll Rebel" on that album.

I'm really looking forward to these reiussues. I'm just hoping that the SOUND quality is as good as the last batch - on that account those remasters were fantastic!!

This is particularly irritating because the catalogs of so many other artists on the Sony labels have never been remastered and are in desperate need of upgrading. The '95 Ozzy remasters sound terrific; I don't think the new versions will improve on them to any great degree. Sony should just release an Ozzy b-sides/rarities collection.

Agreed. I'd buy it but I won't buy these latest discs.
