any b-52 songs... they just take forever to get through

This is a pet peeve for me. Since my fave style of music is punk or punk poppy stuff, I really like a song that is short and to the point. The perfect pop song to me is no longer than 3:30. Seems there are plenty of songs that would have been a lot better if they'd been edited a bit.

Having said that, there are certain albums that I can't imagine having shorter songs on it. Talk Talk's "Spirit of Eden" and most electronica I listen to.

All of Anal C*nt's songs are way too long.

I'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but:

Kashmir by Led Zepplin is way too long, mainly because it's so repetitive

Whole Lotta Love, also by Zep, could do without that middle freak out section

Basically, a lot of classic rock could do with some prudent editing.

Anything by Underworld. Don't get me wrong, I think they're brilliant - but in my opinion, they just don't seem to know when to end a track.

Agree with American Pie. I used to like it, but everytime I hear it now, I just can't invest the time to hear it!

Echoes - Pink Floyd. I love that song, but there is a lot of unnessary stuff in it that they could cut out and probably make half as long.

Basically it's Braveheart set to Heavy Metal - but it is too long and repeats certain parts too much (beats them into the ground)!

It is a GREAT song, but too long and repetitive.
