Bob Dylan question
I was sitting here typing and listening to "Nashville skyline" the first track of that album, "Girl from the north country" contains the line - "remember me to the one who lives there; she once was a true love of mine." Am I wrong or did Simon and Garfunkel use exactly the same line 3 years earlier on "Parsley, Sage Rosemary and Thyme"? Does anyone know anything about this, cause I can't believe Dylan just ripped them off like that. They have sang each others songs I know. Maybe it is an homage.

"Girl From the North Country" was originally on The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan album from '63.

I new that Scarbough Fair was an old song, but I didn't know if the S&G version had the original lyrics or not, since it was a medley. And thanks Lokimok, I should have known that, I have that album to, but its one that I haven't listened to closely in a long time (if at all).
