Blade II soundtrack (electronic/hip-hop collaborations)

I saw an ad in the new issue of Urb for the Blade II soundtrack. Like the Judgment Night and Spawn soundtracks (which are all produced by the same guy), this one features some collaborations that may be interesting:

Eve/Fatboy Slim
Mos Def/Massive Attack
The Roots/BT
Mystikal/Moby
Redman/Gorillaz
Bubba Sparxxx/Crystal Method
Cypress Hill/Roni Size
Ice Cube/Paul Oakenfold
Jadakiss, Fabolous/Danny Saber
Trina, Rah Digga/Groove Armada
Busta Rhymes, Silk the Shocker/Dub Pistols

Some of these pairings probably look better on paper, but I'll still check this out when it's released next month (March 19th, I believe). I'm really curious about the Roots and BT.

I'll be purchasing this Soundtrack on general principle. The first one, even though I owned a few of the discs songs were taken from, was one of the best damn electronic CDs out there.

Hopefully it's better than the Judgment Night soundtrack, which tried to combine alt-rock with hip hop with only a few successful results...

Those are the ones I noticed too. The choice for Gorillaz is kinda of weird though; they're half hip-hop & half half pop, not electronic.

I've heard it and it's pretty damn good.

I love the Mos Def/Massive Attack song.........Eve gets just raw on both versions of COWBOY with Bassment Jaxx and Fatboy Slim.

The Jadakiss, Fabolous/Danny Saber track is real good also.

The Roots song with BT was disappointing because the vocals were difficult to understand.

this is a must if you like hiphop or electronica.
