need help identifing a song.
this is going to be hard because i hardly remember anything about the song, but here goes.
it has the words "i want you to hold my hand" or "i want to hold your hand"
its not the beatles or hootie
it has a jamican beat but probably not a jamican band (like big mountain)
it has some jamican scats in it too
something like "shimmy away, shimmy awwwwaaaaay"
dont quote "shimmy away" im just saying it has something like that in the song.
it at least 5 years old and did recieve radio play.

but does anyone recognize the song?
