The Rock Soundtrack

Does anyone just love this soundtrack? (The movie, not the wrestler)
A good soundtrack can make a movie 10 times better for me in some cases.
I'm talking instrumental soundtracks not the soundtracks with vocal songs.
Some of those are good too but usually the ones with songs written specifically for the movie.

Yes, this is one of my favorite scores and definitely Zimmer's best alongside Crimson Tide and The Thin Red Line. This was also a very influential score, often used in trailers and endlessly imitated by composers such as Harry Gregson-Williams and Trevor Rabin.

I love the soundtrack but wish the tracks were in chronological order. Also, the track titles are way too vague.

To hear Zimmers "extension" of the Rock, but the Broken Arrow score. It's really entertaining and carries many of the same sounds.
