Five for Fighting - Superman
So I just started listening to the radio again after I finally got a clock radio that picks up reception at work.
Anyway, I finally heard this song today. In fact, it's on right now. This song is a horrible song. The lead singer is doing the worst impression of Dave Matthews I've ever heard.
People like this garbage?

I actually saw them live. It was a radio concert with a lot of people. They were the first people on. Boring.

I want to autoerotically asphyxiate myself after this song. I hate it. It makes me weep that people associate emotional outpouring with this poor excuse for a song.
At least Poison and Warrant knew how to write ballads.

How many bands have done musical odes to Mr. Kent?
Lessee, to start with, I can think of:
Crash Test Dummies
REM
Spin Doctors...
And the cruellest part of it all, to this day, Captain Carrot & His Amazing Zoo Crew have yet to have a tune written for them.
UNFAIR, I say!

Hey, at least they actually play instruments. Compared the categorical crap that comprises most of what's on FM nowadays, I don't think it's that bad at all. If you can sing, write your own material, and (God forbid) actually play an instrument, you're way ahead of the game in my book.

I too like this song, the guy has talent and I'm a big Superman fan. The video is pretty cool, also.

but I like them both.
