Has anyone heard this band? I've had a recommendation to go and see them in March but before I part with my hard earned cash I could do with some other opinions.

Personally, I HATE this band with a passion...

But if you're into 70's white funk/rock stuff, go for it.

The first time I ever heard of Tower of Power was a few years ago. My boss was saying that she and a friend were going to see them that night. I thought she was referring to a wrestler or something.

I have yet to hear any of their music though.
