Video Collections on DVD
Although this certainly is not a major trend in DVD sales, I love purchasing music video collections. What recommendations are out there?
I have the following video collections:
Madonna: Immaculate Collection
Madonna: 93-01
Janet Jackson: Design of a Decade
Janet Jackson: All For You (limited edition)
Smashing Pumpkins
Michael Jackson: HIStory Vol. 2
Beastie Boys
Bjork
Weird Al
Run DMC
George Michael
Wham!
Roxette (regionless import - PACKED with 35 videos, 2 1-hour
documentaries, and 4 rare videos)
Green Day
Blink 182
Daft Punk
I have the following DVD singles:
Bjork - All Is Full Of Love
Snoop Dogg
Madonna - Music and What It Feels Like...
Outkast
Toni Braxton - He Wasn't
Depeche Mode
Missy Elliott
Barenaked Ladies
Just ordered:
MTV Party To Go Vol. 2
Looking to get (how are these?):
Freddie Mercury
Meat Loaf
MTV Party To Go Vol. 1
Michael Jackson - Dangerous and Vol. 1
Janet Jackson - Rhythm Nation (any advantage to this DVD if
Design is owned?)
New Order
MTV Collection
Enya
What does everyone else have?

What other regionless collections (or even region coded for multi region users) are out there?
Thanks,

I have:
Apoptygma Berzerk - APBL 2000
Bjork - Volumen
The Cure - Greatest Hits
Depeche Mode - The Videos: 86 > 98
Skinny Puppy - Ain't It Dead Yet?
Skinny Puppy - Video Collection
Not really sure what to recommend here that you might like, as you have DM and Bjork's DVDs already. I suppose The Cure might be of interest to you based on some other stuff you have listed.
Puppy and Berzerk are harder edged stuff which are both fantastic bands - but definitely not something you should purchase sound/sight unheard/unseen.
Cheers!

I'm also interested in getting Dave Matthew Band.

What DVD singles are available outside region 1?
The UK seems to have many more DVD singles, since they are still heavily single-oriented. The US has virtually eliminated the singles market in favor of greater full-length CD sales.

Is that a blank DVD?
IN ADDITION:
There was a bad initial pressing of the DVD and the video and audio were out of sync by about a second in 2 of the videos... I got one of those. I e-mailed the drummer's personal assistant/intern about the problem, and she & the band sent me a new DVD free of charge, and without asking for the old one back.
Great band that still puts on the most FUN shows ever and a very class act for the way they handled the DVD error
