Good CD scratch remover/re-surfacer?
i have a lot of CDs with BAD scratching, and before i went out and bought them all again, i realized i could probably re-surface them for cheaper. anyone know of a good, cheap product out there for this? thanks

You need one of these things.

Granted, this thing is the deluxe plug in model, and costs $50, but I've seen the hand-powered one go for $20 at office depot. I've got the hand powered one, and it's the best purchase I've made. Now when I buy used CDs, I make it a point to buy the scuffed ones, because they are usually a few dollars cheaper, and I've not found a scratch this thing can't take out, except for ones that go all the way through the plastic and destroy the metal layer.
They are sometimes called Game Doctor, Disc Doctor, DVD Doctor, Data Doctor, but they are all the same thing. If you're going to do a lot of discs, you might want to pick up some extra resurfacing wheels.
