The Strokes: sold out show
I just the Strokes a few nights ago.
They only played for about 45 minutes with no encore but they were still great.
The show was sold out but a radio station pulled up about 30 mins before the show and started handing out tickets. The guy a stack of at least 75 to 100 tix in his hand.
He said the record label just sent them today.
So if you plan on going I wouldn't be surprised to see this happening a lot of places because the album is still needing
a pick-me-up.

I don't see what the big f*****g deal with this band is. Their cd is ok but people are jerkin off to them like theyre the saviours of rock. They are a decent Velvet Underground-esque band, and surely better than the garbage polluting the radio airwaves(POD, Kid Rock, Incubus, Staind, etc, etc, etc, etc) but that is all.

Also, guys it really is ok to look like you're into it and not like zombies on automatic. Oh wait, these guys are too 'cool' to look like they're actually having fun.
