Any David Gray Fans?

I've just been listening to Illuminate which he did with Orbital on The All Together and whilst I like it I'm not sure that his voice suits that tempo. Any thoughts?

have not heard that is it new?

I like him a lot, but more for just easy listening kinda mood stuff
Seen him in concert a couple of times in SF, and he puts on a good show.

i agree, david gray's voice doesn't really suit that song. a more melodic, more female voice would have made the song much better IMO. but the song is still good.

oh and I'm a david gray fan too.

No - that "Babylon" song was perhaps the most overplayed of the year. Vying with Staind's "It's Been Awhile" in the most (seemingly) consecutive spins per hour category.

Yeah, I like David Gray. It helps that he's on Dave Matthews record label.

I like him, but haven't gotten around to buying anything he's done yet

I also haven't bought or have any of David Gray's studio albums. I learned all of his songs through live recordings (which incidently, is an interesting way to get to know an artist). The few chances that I've had to hear his studio stuff pale in comparison to live.

I'm becoming familiar (and quite a big fan) of John Mayer right now, also through live recordings.
