Today's CDs (10/17)
International Noise Conspiracy -- A New Morning, Changing Weather
Detroit Cobras -- Life, Love & Leaving
Thee Headcoats -- Headcoats Down
Ted Leo & the Pharmacists -- Tyranny of Distance
I went record shopping last night and picked up those four albums. The INC disc is disappointing. The vocals are too high in the mix, it doesn't have much of a punch. The Detroit Cobras are fair. The Billy Childish is great of course. And your mention of Ted Leo yesterday Steve reminded me that I needed to pick up his new one. It is fantastic. A great mix of Chisel and Shudder to Think. I highly recommend it to any fans of indie pop.
