'Requiem for a Dream' Soundtrack - Anything similar?

I just love this soundtrack. The mix of string instruments with a techno beat is just awesome. Is there anything else out there that is similar to this?

You may want to check out some Psychic TV. Each album is different, so you may want to download a few tracks first to see whats more to your taste.

I wonder what this could be:

1. Requiem For A Dream - Paul Oakenfold
2. Wild Dreams - Uberzone
3. Dreams - Hive
4. Party - Max Graham
5. Fear - Josh Wink
6. Ghosts - Psilonaut
7. Dreamer - DJ Icey
8. Fear In Stereo - A Guy Called Gerald
9. Television - Photek
10. Lux Aeterna - Delerium
11. Ghosts - Clint Mansell (vocal version)
12. Requiem - Clint Mansell

Hey, where'd you get that tracklist?

Clint Mansell (who produced the score) has mentioned on his site (http://www.clintatthecontrols.com) that a Requiem For a Dream Remix album is in the works. He mentioned a lot of the artists that are on that list that you posted, although it seems that the album is currently in limbo (check out the site for details).

I'm looking forward to this album, so hopefully it'll get a solid release date soon.

Pi by Clint Mansell too is great and has some techno songs on there too!

Also I greatly enjoy the Memento OST but it might be too slow and not enough techno.

Another good one is "Chaplin". I still can't believe that film didn't get more awards.

Also if you are interested in the strings portion of the soundtrack, check out some of Kronos Quartet's own albums.

The Fountain Soundtrack

Hey...Since the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack was good...I guess we can expect that new movie's soundtrack (The Fountain) to be good to. The same person is working on it. Has anyone heard anything else from Clint Massell?

He used to be in Pop Will Eat Itself. He has done other film soundtrack stuff, I have the World Traveler one, not as good as Requiem.
