Any word on Suede's DVD?
Suede is supposed to come out with a DVD, but I haven't found it for sale anywhere yet. According to their record company it's due to be released in November. Does anyone know of any hiccups/developments?

From what I have read there is supposed to be an exclusive new song - woohoo! The only info I have seen on this, is from www.blackstar.co.uk/video/item/7000000066726
I have no idea if a Region 1 disc is coming out, sorry.

nope. No region 1 DVD for Suede. Also, no region 1 DVD for New Order or Stereophonics either. I'm sure there are more bands i'm missing as well.....
Of course you can still pick up N-Sync, Korn, or Mariah Carrey DVD's at your local Tower.
Good news though is that there is talk that Suede will do a U.S. tour next year.

That's why I love my dvd-rom drive, region 2 thanks.
why are music dvd's region encoded anyway, I understand with movies the release dates and stuff, but music there is no need to region code music dvd's
I'll order it when it comes out, and then I can tell you all how good it is.

I have not heard anything of the promised Region 1 release of Orbital's "Altogether" either. Guess I'll have to get this as an import, oh bother. Other notable Region 2 UK music dvd's include a Stereophonic Box Set of what I assume to be all their videos. The Stereophonics's summer gig "Day at the Races", Video collection from Massive Attact entitled "11 Promos". A Toyko performance from Ash comes out on the 3rd of December. I really should be living in the UK.
I bet if and when Suede announce US gigs for next year they will again bypass Washington DC (or everyband for that matter - haha). I had tix the last time they came to the states for their NYC gig but Ticketmaster lost my tix in the mail and I was extremely angry over this, but that's another story - ultimately saw Suede at Reading Music Festival the next summer.
Just read on NME.com that TWO new songs from Suede will be on the upcoming DVD, cant wait!
