I saw Jeff Mangum twice last year and both shows were amazing. At the first Scott Spillane was there as the opening act and played horns on a NMH song or two. The second show had The Music Tapes as the opening act, so Julian Koster joined him on saw for a few songs. So I guess Jeremy Barnes is the only members of the band I haven't seen perform on a song.

I'd love to see NMH, but I'm not sure they're coming anywhere close.

If they come to Chicago, I'm going.

This and the fact that My Bloody Valentine are back in action (and produced an excellent new album) has kind of blown my mind.

Sidnote, MBV: Aragon in Chicago this weekend.
