October New Release List
Well, I had some time and compiled this list of October new releases. Keep in mind it is very incomplete. Every Tuesday new discs come out, and there are over 100 releases per week. I put only the larger a more well known releases. Feel free to post additions if you feel they belong in the thread, and people should know about them.
Often times, release dates are delayed in the music industry, so these dates could and will sometimes fall through. Enjoy, I hope you find it usefull. In theory, if well received I'll put this together each month. OCTOBER 9th Bubba Sparxxx -- Dark Days, Bright Nights Alice Cooper -- Dragontown Charlotte Church -- Enchantment Leonard Cohen -- Ten New Songs Front Line Assembly -- Epitaph Lit -- Atomic Ozzy Osbourne -- Ozz Talk Trace Adkins -- Chrome Toni Braxton -- Snowflakes Jurassic 5, Blackalicious -- We Came From Beyond The Strokes -- Is this it 16th Andrea Bocelli -- Cieli di Toscana New Order -- Get Ready Phish -- Live Phish Vol. 6: 11/27/98, The Centrum, Worcester, Massachusetts 23rd DMX -- Great Depression Bush -- Golden State Dave Matthews Band -- Live in Chicago at the United Center 12/19/98 Backstreet Boys -- The Hits - Chapter One Gov't Mule -- Vol. 1-Deep End Cranberries -- Wake Up & Smell the Coffee Enigma -- Lsd-Love Sensuality & Devotion Incubus -- Morning View Various Artists -- What's Going On (all-star tribute) Dilated Peoples -- Expansion Team 30th Enrique Iglesias -- Escape Lenny Kravitz -- Lenny Soundtrack -- Harry Potter Tomahawk -- (self-titled) |
I just wanted to say thanks. This thread is a great idea. I often don't even know many albums I want are actually out until I see them in the store. We should try to have a thead like this every week.

Warm Machines was the only song I really liked on it. |
glad people are diggin' this, perhaps if sucess continues we could "stick" it at the top? If the powers that be feel it to be worthy :)
|
I've had The Cranberries, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, for a few weeks now and it's pretty good. It's typical Cranberries but they are maturing nicely in their music.
|
I've had Bush as well as CRanberries for a bit now and if you like the bands then they're pretty good.
nothing revolutionary or anything. |
for a good listing of upcoming releases go to www.icemagazine.com..they update monthly
|

Could you please add The Strokes' "Is This It" to October 9th?
It was due on Sept. 25 but they pushed to now to take off the "New YOrk City Cops" song and add "When It Started". Also the cover art is different for the United States than in Europe where the album came out last month with the NYC Cops track. IS THIS IT is a Great great rock album. These guys are starting to get press from every publication and they deserve it. They are huge in UK but hail from New York City. |

|
thanks MJK.
also, updated. |
There's another excellent list at:
http://www.pauseandplay.com It's sorted by artist, not date though.... I like this thread so I can see each week's releases. Michelle |
I didn't realize the new New Order album isn't out here yet. I bought it 2 weeks ago in Hong Kong.
|
I buy all UK releases from Amazon uk, get them here in 4 days to the west coast, and at a cost of about 13 dollars each, can't beat it. Why wait for new order etc to get released in the USA when you can already own it way cheaper
