The Edge IMO was a very underrated survival thriller.
I know Die Another Day is regarded by a lot of Bond fans as the worst Brosnan movie.

To be fair, it starts out great. It's the third act that lets it down (although I do like the dueling spy cars).Originally Posted by DJariya

Yes regarding The Edge

Die Another Day is the worst Brosnan Bond, but it still has some great parts. I like the dark and unsusal opening sequence and Halle Berry. The Edge and Mullholland Falls are cool movies though.

He had an eclectic catalog of titles. Once Were Warriors is great, Die Another Day is garbage, and Devil's Double rocks.
Outside of his film career he was a bit of a weirdo. He was arrested for propositioning an undercover cop for sex while dressed up as a woman. Like 20 years ago or so.

RIP
Ice Cube had a big rift with him on XXX State of the Union.
I need to revisit The Edge.
Dana Carvey said that was one of his favorite movies,

I saw him give a talk and Q&A at a showing of “The Edge” here a few years back and he was a lovely gentleman, lots of great stories. An iconic kiwi filmmaker for Once Were Warriors alone but had a lot of other good stuff in his tank. R.I.P.

"Once Were Warriors" = one of the best movies of the 90s, and maybe the best movie of the 90s that most people have not heard of

THE EDGE is one of the best action/thriller flicks of the 90's. Baldwin and Hopkins and Jerry Goldsmith's music! Love that movie!
