Although it doesn't hold a candle to the original (none of the sequels do), Dominion is not as horrible as advertised. It just made the boneheaded decision to not exploit the premise set up by Fallen Kingdom, instead having the climax take place on yet another island. I don't even hate the locusts subplot as a means to get Ellie into the story. But that should've only been an inciting incident, with the focus being on dinosaurs roaming free in the modern world. And it should have lead to a Dino Riders movie, dammit!

I'll finally watched this one. It is the only Jurassic movie I haven't watched in a theater and I'm kind of glad I didn't. I liked all of the other movies. Some were great, some just entertaining, but Rebirth was by far the worst. Jonathan Bailey was miscast, he was almost like Denise Richards in The World is not enough. There is no real explaination on why ScarJo is so good in her job and it isn't shown either during the movie, but she looks hot in a tank top.
The CGI was worse than in the orginal movie from 1992.
The dinos all looked like bad CGI. The scene were they are rappelling down the mountain looked like Indiana Jones green screen and that's from the 80s. The rafting scene was more like Land of the Lost, the TV show, not even the Will Ferrell movie. All this bad CGI really angered me. The scene with the titanosauruses should have been a magical scene like in the first one and I could only see the bad CGI.

And just fuck off with your stupid hybrids. T-Rexes and raptors are scary enough.

We finally watched this about a month back. Like Runaway, the only Jurassic film I didn't make it to the theater for. Unlike Runaway, I kinda wish I did. My whole family loved it. Easily the best since Jurassic World 1. I did enjoy this cast. ScarJo was hired to do a thing and she accomplished the thing, so she was shown she was good at her job? Wanna talk about non-characters, Owen and Claire should have never made it past the first JW film and they should have evolved like the OG films with (r)evolving casts.

I am over hybrid dinos as well, but I think it worked well enough here in a monster-movie, experimentation gone wrong awry way. I liked it. However, I hope to hell they're done with hybrids.

I only had a couple gripes. First they spend, what a day, maybe two on the island and ScarJo goes through 3-4 outfit changes. Where and when was there time for this, and where did the clothes come from? Gotta sell toys I guess. That's minor. My main issue was the overzealous homage to the first couple films (which I heard was far worse before Spielberg stepped in and said something to remove a bunch of nods). The entire gas station sequence was a combo of the kitchen scene and the base scene in The Lost World. It was too much.

Saw this on Netflix. I’ll give it a C+

Didn’t really care for any of the characters. Extremely forgettable.

The mutated dino designs were interesting. I’ll consider it a positive for the movie, and creative.

The CGI was not good. Should have used more practical effects.

The classic Jurassic Park theme was poorly used in some scenes. For example, they used it when ScarJo and the doctor were just talking in a quiet scene. Didn’t make sense for someone like me who loves soundtracks.

Overall action was ok. Second half of the movie was highly entertaining.

Do I need another Jurassic Park movie? Probably not.
