Agree and that is easy to name the first two but be more original than JCVD.

Abigail Breslin.

She is horrible.

She makes the actors in the Lifetime movies look like Christian Bale.

Vin Diesel is not a bad actor. He currently does bad roles that make him money, there’s a difference. This got him noticed by Spielberg who then cast him in Saving Private Ryan.

Strongly disagree. I’ve seen her be really good in stuff. Working Girl, Nobody’s Fool, Something Wild, Body Double. Also that making-of Citizen Kane HBO movie RKO 281, where she played the same part that Amanda Seyfied was Oscar-nominated for in Mank. I think she was actually better.
Now her daughter Dakota Johnson on the other hand…..

One that used to always bother me was David Mamet’s wife Rebecca Pidgeon.
He cast her as the lead in most of her films during that period like The Spanish Prisoner, State & Main, Heist and The Winslow Boy. I found her painful to watch, cast against real actors. She’s hardly worked outside of him, did have a smaller part in Red.

Lucas Black was all right as a kid in American Gothic. Haven't seen him in anything newer.

That's because he spent 5 years starring on one of the NCIS shows on CBS, so no one on this forum had any idea he was still alive.

He played one of the iconic characters in cinema but that does not excuse him for not being a master thespian.

Yes they are smokeshows but not really good in the acting department.

he's been good in a lot of stuff since SW. sometimes small roles as a professor of something, but he was always pretty good in those roles. Especially, in The Fall of the House of Usher. His voice work as Joker certainly has been amazing. I think he garnered a nice and fruitful career post Star Wars.

Anyone who can only play themselves. Casey Affleck, for example. He can only play an asshole New Englander. He does well in those roles, but I don't think he could ever do well if he had to act as someone different from himself. He was the first example I could think of, but it applies to quite a few working actors.

I feel that way about Ryan Reynolds. He plays the same smart ass character type in every movie.

With the exception of LA Confidential, she always puts me to sleep or bores me. If I like any of her other films, it's because of the other actors or the premise etc.

Jennifer Lopez is both a mediocre actress who'd be better off focusing on music and a mediocre musician who'd be better off focusing on acting.

Disagree. Ben has some actual acting talent. He's believable in rolls that differ from his personality. I found it laughable that Casey won an Oscar for memorizing a script and just being himself on screen. Good performance; not good acting.

And don't forget, Ben was the BOMB in Phantoms.
