I saw that video and hope that it's genuine. It certainly looks different than what I was expecting, but I like it.

CORRECTION: This is the video I saw.

Camping out at the theater the night before the film premiers?

No, watching it at the theater. I am assuming there will be the early showing the night before it officially opens.

I figured as much. This movie seems made for a midnight screening. I was just messing with you.

I finally watched it (unrated) last weekend. Very worthy entry in the franchise. Lots of cringe moments especially towards the end.

That looks fun. If that's the right word for it.

I think "painful" might be the right word for it. I think I cringed at least half a dozen times watching the trailer... but in a good way.

Re: Evil Dead Burn (2026, D: Vanicek)

Looks like more of the last two. Cool. It's been 40+ years. Is his grandfather Ash?

I want the fun things. I can watch 30+ hours of it with Ash. They could continue it if they want. Ash was put to sleep by the Knights of Sumeria. Anything can happen in the following years. I really liked that world they built.

We're not given much with this trailer. If they do place it after Ash VS Evil Dead, I'll geek out a bit.

It would be the stretch while he's asleep. There is nationwide or worldwide chaos in the final episode. So it would be a world where that happened and everyone is aware of everything.

As soon as I saw the focus on the dishwasher rack of utensils I knew it was a Chekhov's Gun and sure enough...

I do miss a little of the goofiness that Bruce brought to the projects, but I still enjoyed the two newer ones as well.
