Jamie Foxx explains how his ego couldn’t comprehend that he got a stroke - because he was “Jamie Foxx”. He goes on a deeper level saying how could God do that to him - “Jamie Foxx” - he makes people happy. He’s not a bad person.

He began to realize his arrogance. The physical therapy nurses also helped him realize his arrogance. Strokes don’t give a shit about his status.

That was his explanation of why he was initially ashamed of having a stroke and didn’t want the public to know.

We unfortunately suffered through his ego monologue for an hour hoping we'd finally laugh....at something.
