Hey, no rush Superman. Reminds me of the "This is fine" meme.

Despite being a Superman purist, I love the S symbol they're using for this film. If you have to alter the classic chest emblem, this is the way to do it.

If I'm being picky, maybe more texture on the arms than I'd like. But I understand why Hollywood does it with all their superhero costumes.

Sort of like Grant Morrison's Action Comics run back in the "New 52" days.

From a distance, Corenswet sort of resembles Henry Cavill

I think the costume and Corenswet look pretty good. Not sure if I like the collar and pattern on the suit but otherwise it looks good to me.

I mean if you want to count small cameos.. sure. We actually haven’t had a Superman movie for a while. Justice League/Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the last time he had a large role to play.

And that was a supporting role at best, despite Cavill getting second billing. The last actual Superman movie was Man Of Steel in 2013.

Or we can just pretend it's 2016 and complain about everything DC because they ain't Marvel

Suit looks just fine to me The only thing I've seen the actor in was Pearl but he was rather good in it.

I would say Batman V Superman since at least he was billed and had a large part.

The actor is looking about as jacked a superhero character as I've ever seen outside of someone like Arnold or the Rock. Almost looks a little cosplayish thanks to the gigantic physique.

I think of that as a team up flick, but fair point.

It's basically the Kingdom Come logo, but in traditional colors.

Which works well for that world-weary retired superhero in a future dystopia, but doesn't scream Superman as an icon and current hero.

Th amount of nerds (hey, I'm a Superman nerd as well) nitpicking the costume and the pic overall is pretty laughable. While I don't really have to much faith that Gunn will make a memorable Superman film, it's still way too early to tell - that image could have been partially AI generated as well for all we know and who cares if it is - it's just a little teaser shot.

Hollywood probably has access to the best PEDs and doctors.

Agreed, though on the last point only, Gunn specifically said it was a photograph and everything there is in camera.

It's pretty warm out today so I can only think about how insanely hot the Mr. Terrific actor must be in the thick black leather. I work outdoors in my second job and I was sweating my ass off over the weekend, even in microfiber clothes. The cape probably ain't doing Superman any favors either

They're filming this in Cleveland. The weather isn't as bad as LA or the East coast right now.
