Colors are off but that’s a damn good looking suit! Supererection notwithstanding.

No bigger than the metal codpiece Christopher Reeve was made to wear. After all, Alexander Salkind and Ilya Salkind insisted, “Either he has a big one, or he has nothing!

That's right, Superman having to reluctantly put on his boot is exactly the first image we should use to promote the face of the new DC. Not to mention that it gave no indication of the actual look of the film....something Routh and Cavil's stills at least did. (to their fault, hated the desaturation and color grading)

I thought people were mostly bitching about the look of the costuming.
It seems like everyone has made up their minds whether they will love or hate the movie by now anyway ..

I actually thought the casual nature of the photo was pretty cool. It showed a God-like alien as relatable, which has always been the "in universe" appeal of Superman: He may have superpowers, but he's still the kind and decent son of the Kents.

Not sure who the character behind him is, but that dude must be massive to be towering over a 6'4" Corenswet.

That is Concern Trolling at its finest. He appears to be slouching in that overhead still photo taking during filming. Movie will probably suck.

In this new Superman movie, a gym membership is Superman’s Kryptonite.

Is it just me or are they modeling this iteration of Clark/Superman off how he looks in My Adventures With Superman? Even the the patterns on the blue fabric of the Superman suit remind me of the suit in the cartoon. Not 1:1 but pretty darn close.

I always felt Superman and Clark should have different hairstyles, which is what I liked from Lois & Clark, but felt that show did it backwards. His hair should be slicked back with what looks like pomade as Clark, but loose and tad messy as Superman (though not as uncontrolled as Cornswet's hair is in that pic I posted), from all the flying around

That picture is from a phone across the street, so it looks stupid. If you were right in front of him, his hair was combed and he had no glasses on.

This one pulls more from the New 52 design by Jim Lee, which imagined the suit as a sort of Kryptonian armor. I would bet Adventures takes some inspiration from there, but personally it always reminded me of this old blog called Project Rooftop, where people would submit redesigns of classic superheroes' outfits (it's a play on the fashion show Project Runway)
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/dvdtalk...5b564db5b8.jpg

This was viewed by a lot of people as "one step forward, two steps back", due to the sheer busyness of the design (a complaint shared by basically all of the New 52 costume redesigns)
