When an explosion in the Norwegian mountains awakens an ancient troll, officials appoint a fearless palaeontologist to stop it from wreaking deadly havoc. This fantasy-action film stars Ine Marie Wilmann ("War Sailor") and was directed by Roar Uthaug ("Tomb Raider" and “The Wave”).

Wow, was really impressed by this movie. Was expecting Syfy level budget, but got Hollywood production values.
CGI was really good. Basically you get King Kong vibes.
And I give props for the language usage. For example, American news broadcasts used English, Japan news used Japanese, etc. It’s not dumb like a lot of films where the Russians speak English full time in Russia.

I forgot to post in this thread over the weekend, but this was a really fun film to watch, and I like that it does not take forever to show you the troll and does not let up from that point forward. This is a film I would not mind seeing a sequel too.

Just watched this. Very entertaining. Don't expect a thoughtful, change your life, contemplate for days movie. Just grab the popcorn and watch.

Damn, this was very entertaining. I'm glad I watched it... The troll looked great and some surprising special effects for a netflix movie. lol

I found this just okay.. I enjoyed Troll Hunter a lot more.

I just stumbled upon this news when I was checking out another site and I can’t wait, should be a fun watch. The news puts me in the mood to watch the film again.
