YAWTNOTM Thread.

I was going through an old old undated list of movies to watch and I have WTR and now I must know what it was. Ideas? I'm into blockbusters, not Criterion movies (not that's anything wrong with them).

Maybe it's not an acronym?

WATER (1985)?

Not a blockbuster per se, but I'm sure the people who made it hoped it would be.

Do you typically write movies down in acronyms? Maybe it isn’t a movie but a list of What To Rent?

Re: YAWTNOTM Thread.

It's the name of a movie. And definitely an acronym.

I know, but I thought just short for World Trade and it’s assumed it’s the Center. Just spitballing…

Any idea how old old the list is? If it was from like 1950, that would narrow down a lot of the options.

Yeah, along these lines, maybe it would help if you posted more of the list along with how you abbreviated those movies. Understanding the rest of the list might give us a little more insight into how/when it was made or help trigger something. I mean, this abbreviation is awfully vague.

War of the Roses?

Re: YAWTNOTM Thread.

Oh it would be from the 90s on and it would be most likely a blockbuster and it's the only abbreviated movie I never abbreviate them except like potc. Even like nightmare on elm Street I'd write elm st 3 vs abbreviate.

I went through this entire list : Movies that start with W

I couldn’t find anything from the 1990’s.
The closest I found were already mentioned. War Of The Roses (1989) & A Walk To Remember (2002).

This seems to be the best guess one could make, and it fits your criteria, as it came out in 1989 and was a big hit for its time. It's also an excellent movie, highly recommended if you haven't seen it.

Weturn of The Redi

Avatar 2: Way of the WTR

Wakin' Two: Re-electrified boogaloo?

Walk of The Rings (a Lord of the Rings fan edit)?

What does WTR equate to on porn sites?

I think it may be A Walk to Remember, I remember wanting to rewatch it. I'm going to go with that. Thanks!
