Good change, IMO. I’ve never understood the thinking behind releasing a horror movie just a couple days before Halloween. On paper it looks good but you’re likely to get one decent weekend and then people immediately turn their attention to the Holidays.

Yeah that’s been the speculation for awhile that this would be a prequel. Spiral was a bomb and I’m wasn’t too crazy with the proposed new direction.

Kevin Greutert is going to be on the Saw panel at Midsummer Scream in Long Beach tomorrow. No actors of course, just him and a few production people. I think there’s a chance the trailer drops this weekend.

I’ve never seen any of the Saw films. Kind of weird that it’s a prequel but is called Saw X which would make you think it should be sequentially later. I guess just a title though.

Given this is an interquel, isn't everything in this flick simply a foregone conclusion? Can't see much fun in such a zero tension scenario.

They also show Amanda in the pig suit there, so that sort of undermines her character in part 2. I'm interested in the whole Mexico setting and going to Mexico for healthcare, etc.
