To view Never Cry Wolf as a Disney product is really selling it short. As far as the nudity, the guy runs around in the altogether with the wolves he has been studying. It's all very organic and natural. I don't think anyone would find anything unseemly about that scene.

Yes, I know it's dumb, and borderline offensive but that's the way I roll. :p

Yup, but IIRC it's just a brief glimpse.

Right, it's not sexual at all.

Great movie. At least the equal of Ballard's better-known The Black Stallion.

These were both favorites of mine as a kid. I really like Fly Away Home, too, though I was an adult when that came out.

Is it ever for Charles Martin Smith?

Mod Warning: It is offensive. Don't let it happen again, thanks.

I'm sure it wasn't sexual. Still shocking though for that type of family movie with the Disney name on it. Especially since it seems like it was recently released on DVD. Unfortunately it isn't on Disney+. That might be an interesting sub topic. Nudity on Disney+. Is there any? In the early days they infamously edited out their headlining movie Splash to make it more palatable for their service. Now Deadpool is on there. That still feels weird seeing it on Disney+ At least it's not the questionable coverart and titles I have to scroll through on HBO Max to get to start a Studio Ghibli movie for family movie night . Or the questionable titles that come up on Netflix under my father in laws profile

I watched it on Disney+ last year, and I thing I noticed edited from Splash was the young mermaid's nipples in the opening scene (which is kind of creepy, by cutting them out they're sort of sexualizing them). The rest of the movie still words like "shit" and "Jesus Christ", and you can clearly see the naked women in John Candy's pornomagzine. I don't remember how much we saw of Darral Hannah in the original, so I couldn't tell.

I've thought of a couple of others.

The Pawnbroker is a 1964 B&W movie about a bitter Holocaust survivor. Serious topic, serious treatment, method acting. Then we see a topless woman. I was surprised. Audiences at the time were shocked. I believe that it was the first bare breasts in the Code era.

The blaxploitation movie Sweet Sweetback's Badassssssssss Song. A ten-year-old Mario Van Peebles, playing the protagonist as a boy, having non-simulated sex with a woman.

Didn't he also get the clap from that scene, or am I thinking of something else? I believe the "actress" in that scene was just a hooker Melvin hired.

Glad Mario didn't totally return the favor in Badassss, the story of the making of Sweetback, when just like his own dad did to him, it's now Mario's son playing Mario in the movie

It was Melvin who got the clap from "Prez", The Biker Chick.

She was just a singer/actress. There's a lengthy interview with her on the Vinegar Syndrome disc. About 15-20 minutes long. But she only spends about 2 minutes talking about the actual scene.

Seeing this thread get bumped I don't think Jason Segal in Forgetting Sarah Marshall has been mentioned yet.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Good to know. I think.
