Most likable actor in Hollywood?

Be it on their movies or talk-show stints. Who do you think is just the most likable actor working today?

I know there are actors who support and create charities and help the environment and all that. Leo, Matt, George, all great and certainly likable bc of endeavors offscreen as well as on screen, but for my money…Paul Rudd.

Everything I see him in, his guest spots, movies, talk shows, etc. He just comes off as the most fun, likable actor in Hollywood today. Everything about him is joy and fun and always makes me smile.

Sure he was in a Halloween movie as a dark character, but now that he’s blown up, just so darn cute and likable. And good actor to boot.

Good choices, I'd also nominate Henry Cavill.

Betty White (if she is still doing any work)
Jeff Goldblum seems like a decent fella.

(Tom Hanks would be my top choice, though)

Must be why so many little-known filmmakers want to work with him. :D

All time: Bob Hope
2nd place: Walter Cronkite
3rd place: Jimmy Stewart

Current: Tom Hanks. There's a reason he the one asked the go on tv to comfort the nation when there's a crisis.

I always thought the story was that IRL Bob Hope was an asshole.

Walter Cronkite was not an actor.

New nominee: John Krasinski

Yes, I have heard stories about him that were not flattering

currently, it has to be Hanks in my mind. The Rock and Ryan Renolds are good but not on his level IMHO.

I've always loved Robert Redfords acting too but for some reason, Hanks comes immediately to mind.

People like Ted Danson. One of the rare TV actors to have success as the star of multiple sitcoms and a drama.

He really doesn't act much these days, but the answer is Mark Hamill.

Of the A-list stars, I would say Keanu Reeves or Tom Hanks.

Seems like Hamill's sweet spot demo would be middle-aged men. I wonder how much that has taken a hit since that is also prime MAGA territory, and Hamill likes to go after Trump.

I would agree with Paul Rudd. He kind of has that every man personality to him. He’s funny, but not in an obnoxious way. Seems likable in interviews and in his films. I can also agree with him being a good looking guy. One of my favorite actors and he has been for quite a while really.

Outside of Paul Newman and a select few others I’d be hesitant to name anyone from old Hollywood. I’m sure even the most beloved entertainers of their time were sexually assaulting, alcoholic, physically abusive, adulterous, pieces of shit in private.
