I saw on the Fandom Site that on November 1st, 2021 a sequel to the 1941 Dumbo Movie is going to be released. WOW after 80 years they decided to go ahead and make a sequel to one of the Walt Disney Classics! Yoo-hoo it's coming alive again.

There was a Dumbo II that was supposed to come out in 2001. Maybe they just misread the year?

If it is a sequel to that 2019 Colin Ferrell movie that would be a surprise since it was panned everywhere.

And the logo in the article is from the cancelled 2001 film.

Sounds like fans playing games.

EDIT: Also, November 1st is a Monday. They're not putting out a new movie on a Monday.

None of those actors mentioned on that site has Dumbo II on any of their filmographies either.

I think the legend of Dumbo II, the legend we have all hoped was true for the last 80 years is nothing but lies.

Not a very funny joke, chenchukon, for getting all of our hopes up!

This thread should have been created on April 1st, because it is clear that fans on the site the OP referenced are pulling a fast one on fans of Disney's Dumbo (of which I count myself one of those fans, but I have not seen the Burton Dumbo).
