I'm down for more with Gareth Evans. The modern day equivalent of Tsui Hark or John Woo. This and The Raid & Raid II remind me of a more hyper version of Time and Tide or Hard Boiled. Lots of creative camera movement and lots of bullets

Apparently this was shot entirely on sound stages in Wales, UK. That explains why it felt so small in scale.

Havoc’s greatest strength is its suffocating atmosphere. The city feels like a festering wound, blending Se7en’s nihilism with Gotham’s grimmest alleys (minus the capes). The grime is palpable—you can practically taste the mold and blood through the screen.
Yummy.
