Rebecca Ferguson

I really liked her in Doctor Sleep, then I read she was that singer in The Greatest Showman (I didn't like her as much then but may have just been the role and she looks better as a brunette). Anybody have some movie recommendations in which she has sizeable roles, especially villainy roles? Thanks!

So damn gorgeous. She was amazingly gorgeous in Greatest Showman, but her character was, as you say, a turnoff (historically inaccurate, I read).

She’s also memorable in Mission Impossible Rogue Nation and, at a young age, the White Queen TV series. Life is worth watching as well.

I like her too. But, she did not sing on The Greatest Showman. That was Loren Allred doing the singing voice.

The 2 Mission Impossible movies she did were how she became known to the U.S. I think she was a pretty unknown Swedish actress prior to them.

I recommend Life. She has a big part in it. It's a sci-fi horror movie,

I was gonna recommend the MI movies.

No pics? This place is indeed slipping.

Ferguson starred in "The White Queen" series in 2013, and was 30 years young then.
Perhaps your brain has gotten her mixed up with Jodie Comer in "Princess."

I watched Life but don't remember her in it, will re watch it, and first up will be Rogue Nation.

Re: Rebecca Ferguson

I think Rogue Nation is what really put her in the spotlight, although she's had a pretty good run prior to that one. But Rogue Nation and Fallout is a great double feature with her.

 No, I just mistyped because I remember the character being young at the start of the series, and for some reason, the first episode is the one I watch the most. :sarcasm:

She's a villain, as well, in MiB International (but I don't recommend it).

Re: Rebecca Ferguson

She is a fantastic actress and hot as hell to boot. Her portrayal of Rose the Hat in Doctor Sleep was simply awesome. I really enjoed that movie and largely because of her. She was menacing in an original way where it was very animalistic. Felt almost like Roy Batty in Blade Runner in their only concern was for their, and their closest, lives and longevity.

She has been consistently great in the MI movies, a series which has continued to get better and better. Looking forward to the next two they are shooting back to back. Looks like we will have a selection of beauties in them.

She was a villain in The Kid Who Would Be King, but I don’t recommend that one either.

When I saw her in Doctor Sleep, I thought she was Morena Baccarin :p

It was three years ago at a theater when I was going to a lot of movies.

Doctor Sleep is on the top five of my most favorite movies ever, that may play a part. And Rose The Hat is one of the best characters I have ever seen.
