National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
In a recent article announcing Bad Boys 4 is in the works, the screenwriter has also been tapped to write National Treasure 3.
Bremner's schedule is heating up as he is also writing National Treasure 3 for Disney, among other projects. That project is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, who is also the producer behind Bad Boys for Life. |
Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
Man I hope the script is good enough to get Nicholas Cage interested in signing on to the project.

He needs to discover that he has a crazy twin brother. :)

After the failure of Cats, this is what America needs.

I just want to see Diane Krueger in a big movie again!

Wonder if this is something that will go straight on Disney+.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
I really hope this happens.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
I actually would probably see NT3. Really enjoyed the first one especially and the sequel had its moments. Assuming it's not some reboot with a different cast.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
Surprised it’s taken this long to do a third as well. The first two are pretty fun movies for what they are. I’d be down for a third.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
The first two movies are guilty pleasures that I rewatch more often than I should admit.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
Same here. Good saccharine family fun that’s not animated. And honestly, I like seeing Nicholas Cage acting normal in a normal movie every once in a while.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
I only saw part 2 once and it was years ago but I seem to remember being eager to see part 3. I can’t remember if it ended on a cliffhanger or what, just that I was excited for a third one.
Of course that was 10+ years ago and haven’t thought much about these movies since... |

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
Finally. I love the National Treasure movies. They're a lot of fun.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
The first one was fun at first and then ok in the second viewing and then lost something in the 3rd viewing.
Diane Krueger and her hotness was the only thing that kept me interested. I don't remember part 2. |
Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
Oh man, she’s amazing to just look at. Norman Reedus is a lucky guy.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
I'm in, loved the first two, but I doubt they'll invite Jon Voight back due to his support of Trump.

I love the first two movies.
The "cliffhanger" from part 2 was ---- what's on page 47?! |

This time, he has to steal the presidency.

Re: National Treasure 3 -- news, rumors, etc.
Speaking of Diane Kruger, I just saw her in an episode of Fringe last night. Watched the 1st half before we got too tired to watch any more. Episode was called Olivia. In the Lab. With the Revolver. Kruger wasn't credited in her role but was recognized in the Wikipedia article. Apparently, she wanted "to be a gooey monster. A role where my eyes are popped out of my head or something - that would be fun."
I think another National Treasure movie would be fun. We enjoyed the first 2, definitely down for another. |
