Nice to get confirmation that the third film will be rated R and that Reynolds is still involved. Curious how it will fit in with the MCU.
Interesting. I didn’t realize that the Blu-ray for Once Upon a Deadpool is out of print. Always meant to see that version but never did.

That’s a good point and really probably the best option for the character. He kind of works best as his own separate thing really. I think trying to incorporate too much Deadpool into other MCU films may not work the best.

Now that the R-rating is a lock, I wonder if they will let Reynolds/Deadpool muck around in the MCU and mock everyone and everything like they did with the X-men. Or I wonder if the MCU is holy ground and untouchable.

My question is if we will see any mutants other than Deadpool on this third installment. It's pretty clear that Feige keeping all mutants close to the vest to use further down the road.

Is Deadpool considered a mutant though? I don't know X-men or Deadpool history(outside of the movies), but aren't mutants born with powers and that's what separates them from the Avengers and other superheroes?
In Deadpool 1, did Ajax "give" Wade powers with all that torture or did he awaken a dormant gene/power Wade didn't know he had?
Seems like he's more like Logan.

In the movies they do seem to be getting at Ajax was just unlocking latent mutant powers, especially because he does not know what powers that they will receive, if any.
In the comics, it wasn't like that at all. Deadpool was specifically given Logan's healing factor thru genetic experimentation.

Would not be surprised if Deadpool shows up in a lot of mid-/post-credits scenes, or even shorts. I could also see DP3 dealing with the multiverse stuff the MCU is about to get into heavily.

I'm pretty sure Ajax injected a mutant gene or serum. Then tried to force it to come out.
