Hopefully this will turn up on RLMs Wheel of the Worst. That way we can see Stuckmann crying like a baby again.
Seriously, i don't know what people see in this guy. I started off watching him and thinking he is fine, but the more I watched the more I found him to be a real cookie cutter reviewer. I found the short pretty terrible and the acting to be horrible. Those reviewers comments are hilarious though. Surely thats a wind up.

That was pretty all around bad. Nothing actually funny about his rip off movies and no real drama between the actors.
The biggest crime, the thing that’s like filmmaking 101, the mistake you almost never see because everybody knows not to do it: Don’t film your actress in close up situated so close to something that she goes cross eyed. She’s full on cross eyed in all of the film’s final moments, which just kills it.

Just film her in a nice flat Jonathan Demme style facing direct to camera. You don’t need him in the foreground. And make your lead look her best.

I started to watch it but had to turn it off. As much as he champions independent movie makers and has talked about his desire to become a filmaker, I expected better than this.
I do pay attention to his reviews because his tastes are usually very similar to my own. But his frequent laughing at his own (unfunny) jokes is a big turn-off.

it's fucking terrible, and I'm usually fairly forgiving when it comes to short films. It's about as bland and void of substance as a Stuckmann review.
But A+ for effort to thestans viewers giving it "high praise."

I watched it a couple of days ago. Not good. The actress deserves a better movie. I felt sorry for the actor who had to do his best Stuckmann impression except maybe a bit more overzealous and manic to sell this as a “comedy.” But at the end of the day it’s a short, and it’s not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Doubt I’ll watch anything else of his unless it gets a lot of praise, and not from YouTube comments.
