That description is actually pretty accurate.

I actually missed some exposition dialogue here and there because my mind kept wandering thinking how goofy this whole thing was. As mentioned above, it plays like Inception + Memento with a little bit of The Truman Show thrown in. It’s one of those movies you almost I’ve to see to believe the twists it takes.

That being said, it was entertaining enough and Rodriguez knew that even an extra few minutes in this already short movie would have overstayed its welcome. It’s worth a “free” viewing if you have Peacock.
