Cool that the Guardians will be in this. They had good interaction with Thor. Between this news and Bale as the villain this should be a fun movie.

Chris Pratt Joins Cast of Thor: Love and Thunder

Pratt, who leads the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, will join Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and Christian Bale in the Taika Waititi-directed sequel. Waititi will also once again voice Thor's alien pal Korg.

Peter Quill and Thor enjoyed a friendly rivalry in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the latter of which saw the heavyset Bro Thor leave his fellow Asgardians behind on Earth under the leadership of Valkyrie to join the Guardians.Peter Quill, Rocket, and Thor in Avengers: Endgame.
The Hollywood Reporter implies other members of the Guardians could appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
According to THR's Heat Vision newsletter, "Love and Thunder is due to shoot in Australia in January, and Pratt will do a short round of additional photography for his sci-fi movie The Tomorrow War before heading to the land Down Under."

The way i see it, Cap could always lift the hammer. He was basically humoring Thor in Age of Ultron, and again showing his worthiness by not humiliating him in front of the team. His reaction seems to underline this as he plays it up he cant lift it, when he knows damn well he can (it moved).

What are the chances we get a Rocky style training montage of Thor getting back into shape for this movie. Probably after he sees Jane and realizes he still loves her and needs to get back to looking good
