Samara Weaving is an awesome actress. Don't let the 20-something CW look fool you. She was awesome in The Babysitter and Mayhem. Even has a small role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Yeah this will probably be the second movie I see in theaters this year, the first was Endgame.

Emma Mackey from Sex Education looks like Weaving and Robbie as well. I even saw Robbie in interview recently say she was mistaken for her.

I'm just glad Weaving doesn't look like her uncle Hugo.

Ready or Not...this was a lot of fun. a lot. it's lean at less than 1:30 running time so they get right to it. and the mayhem, carnage never lets up. Weaving is always great and this was no different. The other characters were ok. zany and all that. McDowell and Czerny were fine. Brody decent. But, of course Weaving's show.
i don't think i would classify this as horror. more dark dark comedy that is very gory. as much as i really liked it, i just couldn't help feel like this just could have easily been a made-for-streaming movie, like Weaving's The Babysitter on Netflix, which also was a hell of a lot of fun. it had the same production values and all.
if i didn't have a free ticket and some free time, i really wouldn't have seen this in theater. don't even see many horror in theaters (even though it is fav genre) except ones i really want to and fit my criteria. this i could have easily seen at home and loved it just as much maybe more.
either way, i am glad it got theatrical release if nothing else then to show off Weaving's talent. she really should be in more mainstream. maybe the Robbie factor has something to do with that. regardless, she is good and would like to see her more.
overall, very fun, funny and over-the top-gory action/horror hybrid (i guess) movie.

probably more viewings will push it further up...

Enjoyed it and laughed quite a bit during the finale. Thought Samara Weaving was great.

Caught this today. Really fun and entertaining movie with plenty of suspense. Kind of like Alfred Hitchcock meets the bat shit crazy nature of Rob Zombie. While Weaving's resemblance to Margot Robbie has been noted before, anyone else think she would be a better Harley Quinn? Robbie is good in the role, but I think Weaving would own it. Regardless, she seems to be carving out a pretty cool niche for herself as a low budget tongue in cheek horror queen. A movie with her , Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Melissa George would be a cool combo!

While I found the plot to be a rather contrived riff on The Most Dangerous Game, I admired how the filmmakers went full throttle with the material and didn't spare us the graphically gory killings or the heroine getting the crap beaten out of her throughout the movie. The musical score was also very effective in adding some extra energy to the sequences.
I was particularly impressed by the scene where
Some parts were kind of stupid, but overall this was a fast-paced and entertaining 90 minute ride.
I'm thinking the final scene was a homage to Heathers, with

Just got back from seeing it. Had a really good time. Loved the dark humor and it was super violent and bloody.
I'm not familiar with Samara Weaving. I saw on IMDB she appeared on Ash vs. Evil Dead, but I have no clue who she was. But she was a standout here.
Anyways, a fun time and I liked that it was a tight 91 minutes.

Just got back from this tonight. Theater was packed. I really enjoyed it. Funny and mean-spirited.
The movie it most reminded me of was Get Out. Yes, it doesn't have the racial undertones of that film (and isn't as good or well made as that one), but if you substitute wealth for race, you've got basically the same film here. And it still works. I had a really good time.

I saw SW in a terribly overlooked gem film called Mayhem awhile back.
She was terrific.
Like her uncle, the girl has a lot of talent.
Definitely will be a watch for me.

Mayhem was on sale for about $6 on Vudu a couple of months ago so I got it. Glad I did, as it's quite the ride. I recommend it not only for Weaving, but also for Steven Yeun, who shows he has range beyond TWD. He and Weaving have good chemistry in it as well. Babysitter was okay, but again it asks us believe that a bunch of people who are obviously adults in their twenties are high school students. What's kind of ironic about Babysitter is that
