I have probably seen The 5th Element over ten times, maybe closer to 15-20 times. My most watched movie, by far.

Wizard/Oz used to come on (I think) CBS once a year. Remember those times?

T2
Die Hard 3
Pretty much passed the time during my childhood. I know every beat.
As as an adult, I do the same thing with Always Sunny, Arrested Development, and 30 Rock. For movies, I tend to watch my favorites a few times. Too much amazing tv and movies out there and my life is maybe half over. Not enough time.
I also find it so it so easy to turn off bad movies now. I used to stick it out and look for the good moments. Now if I see a zombie movie with characters doing dumb stuff, it’s so easy to turn it off.

That’s a nice memory I have even though I’ve come to hate The Wizard of Oz.

Re: Movie(s) you have seen the highest number of times
High watch count for me would include:
Pink Floyd: The Wall (Blu-ray, where are you?), A Clockwork Orange, and Blade Runner were all staples of my university years. I wouldn't even hazard a guess at the number of times we watched each of them. Actually, Sid & Nancy, too.
Wizard of Oz
West Side Story
The Station Agent
Pulp Fiction
Lost in Translation
Goodfellas
The Shining
Buffalo '66
Silence of the Lambs
Bicycle Thieves
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (Always find the ending particularly emotional, since we lost John Candy)
I'm sure there are more, but I'd be very surprised if I haven't seen any of the above at least 10 times, some many more.

I’ve seen The Groove Tube and Revenge of the Nerds way too many times.
Then there’s the holy trinity of musicals: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Xanadu and Can’t Stop the Music.

Re: Movie(s) you have seen the highest number of times
There was one summer as a kid when I watched E.T. almost every day, so it wouldn’t surprise me if I’ve seen it 60-70 times. I showed it to my son recently, and was probably my first time watching it in 25 years, and I still could remember most of the lines down to inflections.

Return of the Jedi is probably at the very top of my list. I couldn't even guess how many times I've seen that.

Ghostbusters has to be well over 100. Others like Goonies and Die Hard have gotten a ton of rewatches.
Lately things like Pitch Perfect and Bring it On get watched a lot because they are fantastic background movies.

Again, all my opinion.
I really wish they continued on and on and on.
I'd add The Apple over Can't Stop The Music to that mix. Can't Stop The Music isn't really a musical in the same sense that the others are.

Re: Movie(s) you have seen the highest number of times
I have seen Blade Runner waaayyyyy more than 1000 times. I would estimate that I have seen it maybe somewhere in the 2100 mark. I have been watching the movie consistently since it came out, and one particular year during High School I watched it in entirety once every single day. I have seen it 6 times in the theater and will always check it out when it comes back on the big screen. For the last few years I have got my viewing down to about once a month. I consider myself to hold the record for seeing this movie, but who knows, maybe someone out there has seen it more times.

Others would be: Death Wish I and II probably at least 20 +
Death Wish III at least 15 or more.
The Hangover 15 or more as well. I know opinions vary but I think it is THE best comedy to come out recently. Love it and part II does not exist in my world.

Re: Movie(s) you have seen the highest number of times
There's movies like Star Wars and Back to the Future and 2001 that I'm sure I've put on thirty or forty times to watch part of while falling asleep, but the movie I've completely watched from beginning to end the most is definitely Goodfellas. I have no idea how many times I've watched it since 1990, but figure it must be at least fifty. Perhaps more, there's no way to know.
